"Many times, an inn or a motel is owned and cared for by a family. When this is so, the wife and mother of the home is usually responsible for tending to the inside of the inn. There is always the need, to keep it clean and in readiness for guests. There are beds to make, rooms to clean, meals to be prepared and served, and many other things that must be done in order to keep everyone happy. We like to think that in the inn at Bethlehem, there was such a gracious innkeeper's wife."
