Piggy-Back Fun...

Adeline and Andrew (both around four months) on their Uncle Josh's shoulders

We FINALLY got to meet Brooke!!!!

Andrew was very excited (if you click this photo you can see how long her beautiful eyelashes are)
James and I both got some snuggle time

Aunt Bethany got some Adeline bonding time while painting her toenails

Adeline helped Grandma make breakfast

Andrew got a lot of attention from his Uncle Josh and Aunt Bethany

A kiss for Uncle Josh
It never works to get two 4 month old babies to look at the camera
Adeline's Grandma time (her favorite place to be)
Sweet Brooke
Helping Grandma in the kitchen (with an apron of course)
Aunt Betsey looks pretty comfy
Playing at the new Olivet park
The Bean men
Sliding with Aunt Erin and Aunt Betsey
Fun on Olivia's trampoline
A rare moment where Adeline lets Grandma hold Andrew Grandpa playing with his boy
Family shot (this was a lot of fun to do)
The Grandparents and their Grandchildren
The babies were very tired and ready for bed while taking these pictures. They were both crying and we asked Adeline to pretend like she too was crying. It was pretty funny.
Aunt Betsey says Andrew has man boobs. I think she is right.
It was a great weekend. We LOVED meeting Brooke and spending time with the whole family. Hard to believe it had been almost six months since we were all together.

About six months later....

The last time we were together was Thanksgiving and we looked a little different then. I like these pictures a lot better with the babies outside of our bellies:-)

Another reason why this day is so special....

One year ago today these two embryos were implanted.....
....and nine months later this beautiful baby boy was born. Thank you Lord for the gift of life and for allowing me to the opportunity to be a mother.

A very special day...

Today marks seven years for James and I. So....I always hear about "the seven year itch"...my question is we've competed our seventh year without an itch so does the itch come after seven years? I don't really want to know, just curious.
Seven years ago James and I made a commitment to each other. A commitment to love, honor, and cherish one another. A commitment to be partners in life through the good times and the bad. Throughout our seven years we have rented our first apartment, moved away from both of our home towns, bought our first house, struggled with infertility, had our first child, learned to live on one income, made it through a health scare, and had our second child. So now what do we have planned??? To enjoy the life God has given us. To watch our two children grow and be the best parents we can be. And to continue to work on our marriage every day. Together....as partners....as one.
There isn't anyone else I would rather spend my life with. I am thankful.

Finishing up...

Today Daddy worked all day outside finishing up the Swing set. Adeline was a big help. She had all of her tools ready to help Daddy.

Mommy and Andrew sat outside and watched Daddy and Adeline.

Look at what my Grandpa's did for me.....

Adeline's Grandpa and Grandma Bean purchased a very nice swing set for she and Andrew to enjoy through the years. This weekend Grandpa Bean, Grandma Kay and Grandpa Forte all came up to help build the swing set. Grandma Kay played with Adeline all day while Grandpa Bean and Grandpa Forte worked outside from about 9:30 am to 9:30 pm. By the end of the night the swing set was just about finished.
Here is a very happy Adeline watching her Grandpa's work

A few other shots

Adeline was very excited when she received a special package from Grandpa Forte. Princess play-doh
