What a Super Great Night

Adeline and Andrew in front of our table
Not only were there table full of candy but there were also two bounce houses!
A pumpkin and Minnie Mouse showed up for some candy too.
So did Doc and Snow White
The kids with Pastor Bill (Pastor Werewolf)
Our table won for best decorate table.  Woo-hoo!
And the kids came back with way too much candy.  I guess I 'll have to help....time to put on a few extra pounds.
The kids with their pal (pirate) Nick
James took the kids to a few houses to experience the door to door this year
Looks like the kids aren't shy about getting candy

All Ready for Trick or Treating!!!!

Buzz and Jessie Halloween 2012
Our whole family sporting the "Toy Story" theme this year.
We're all set up and ready for Calvary's Trunk or Treat.  (set-up inside because of the cold, wet weather)

Adeline's Halloween Party

Andrew had a short nap and was still waking up.  The classroom was full of kids and parents and he always takes time to warm up.  Adeline on the other hand could not wait to get dressed in her costume.  And even though you don't see the pictures I am also dressed up as Mrs. Potato Head.
Adeline with one of her favorite schoolmates and soccer pal Jersey
The kids working hard on their pumpkin craft.
Time to eat our delicious, sugar filled snacks.
Adeline (Jessie) playing BINGO
The kids must dance and listen to music a lot in class because they all seemed to know what to do when the music started.

All finished!

So after sewing Adeline's dress this summer I decided to try our Halloween costumes and then maybe Christmas outfits.  I put a lot of time into these outfits and really enjoyed doing it.  But...I am glad they are done.  So here they are.
Adeline's Jessie Costume
My Mrs. Potato Head Costume
And James' Mr. Potato Costume

Andrew is Buzz (a costume we got from Uncle Josh and Aunt Bethany)
Tomorrow is Halloween....see you then!

Carving Pumpkins

This year Adeline was more than excited about pulling out all the pumpkin guts.
Andrew, not so much.  He stuck to the plastic ones.
Both kids picked out their pattern and stuck with me while I carved.
Our finished product!
Each year doing this with the kids gets more and more fun.

Birthday lunch with Uncle John

After church we went out to lunch with Grandpa Forte and Uncle John.  Uncle John turned 31 earlier in the week.  I always refer to him as my little brother but we are really much closer in age and he is a lot bigger than me.  (someday that will be Adeline and Andrew)  I am very proud of him and think he is pretty handsome :)

"Happy Birthday to You"

I think Aunt Erin had a good time!

Our Cowboy family

This was pretty fun to dress up for.
Thank you to Jill, Cindy, Phil, Nana, and Brooklynn for contributing items to make our outfits complete.

Bean kids....

Bean kids minus Aunt Betsey.  I think the hat is a little low Josh :)
Big brothers with their little sister.
Hard to believe even that next year all the bean kids will be in their thirty's.

Swing your Partner.....

Todd ran the show and James ran the music!  Thanks guys, this was such a FUN time.

Andrew and Addy loved dancing down the line with their partners.

Addy even got to dance with Uncle Josh.
And yes, James did dance.

Grandpa even went out and got a new outfit AND I was quite impressed that he stayed out on the dance floor the whole time.  Good job Grandpa!

Time for the Hoedown!

Every one got dressed up and tried to sneak out to the barn and wait for Erin.  Just the week before I had finished Adeline's Jessie costume and my Mom had given me a pair of chaps that fit Andrew perfectly.  The kids were so excited.
Happy cousins excited for the music to start.
