Happy Halloween...

Our first REAL Halloween was an amazing adventure. Adeline's first Halloween she was only 3 months old (and a very cute lady bug). Her second she was Elmo but was still a bit too little. This year as Wicket we did the walk, the talk "trick or treat", and got the candy. James and I really enjoyed walking around with our very cute daughter. We went around the Diller neighborhood with our wagon and cd player playing Star Wars and Ewok music.
Wicket was a huge hit. Everyone loved her costume, and she really liked being an Ewok. (thank you Grandma Kay for making it)

Halloween Preview

Adeline = Wicket
Mommy = Princess Leia (much more modest version)
Daddy = Hans Solo

Fun at Maya's

We enjoyed a wonderful evening with the Corbin's tonight. Maya was generous enough to let Adeline sit in her booster seat.
The girls danced together to fun music...

They also got to wear pretty tutu's and attempted somersaults

They ended their night watching a little video on the Mac
Thanks Ryan, Ang, Maya and Sophia we had a wonderful time.

Second of the October birthdays.....

For Papa and Uncle John John's birthdays we celebrated at Nana's house. We showed up a little late so they were just finishing up dinner when we arrived. Adeline was very hungry so we sat her right down at the table and let her eat. As you can see Adeline was the center of attention so even when she was trying to eat EVERYONE was watching, smelling her hair, and giving her kisses. She didn't seem to mind, just continued to eat.

Great Grandma Bonner was also there. It was very nice to see her and catch up and fun to watch her love on Adeline.
What's a visit to Nana and Papa's without coming home with something new. Nana had a Halloween basket and Mermaid suitcase full of sweet surprises.

A big favorite was a touch and learn princess book.
Papa wanted to make sure that he had his "own" Adeline time. He took her off to the play room and convinced her that she needed to stay with them instead of coming home with Mommy and Daddy. She did not leave without a fight.

First of the October birthdays...

October is a very busy month for both of our families when it comes to birthdays. Funny thing is two birthdays are on the 22nd and the other two are on the 25th. For Aunt Erin we drove down to Ft. Wayne to meet her for dinner and then spent the remainder of the evening at her apartment for dessert. After being in the car for 4 hours Adeline did not want to sit down for very long. Everyone, except me...(because I am lazy) took her for little strolls around the restaurant.

If you click the picture you will notice a very messy face. Ketchup with everything....just like Daddy.

Here Adeline is laying next to Aunt Erin when she decided that she wanted to give herself a "tickle"...just like Mommy. (except I won't lift my shirt in public)

Addy's New Room!!!

I was pleasantly surprised when I came home from work yesterday morning to find that James had brought in the toddler bed and set it up for me. Not only did he do that but he also emptied out his closet and rearranged our clothes so that Andrews room is ready to start working on. We still have to drain the water bed but we are getting close.

This morning I moved the crib out and brought up many of Adeline's toys that have invaded the living room. She absolutely loves it. Yesterday she took a good nap in her big girl bed. Night time was not as successful but I know it is a big adjustment.

Although I am excited to be getting things ready for Andrews arrival I am also sad that Adeline is growing up. If only I could freeze time.

The Golden Arches

Adeline got to enjoy a fun trip to McDonalds with her Daddy and Grandpa while Mommy was at Aunt Bethany's baby shower.
Afterwards Aunt Bethany played a fun game of "throw Woody off the balcony"
She looks like she was enjoying her time.

Bean gathering...

We were able to enjoy a wonderful weekend with all of the Beans. Great Grandpa and Grandma Carol came from Texas, Uncle Josh and Aunt Bethany came from Philadelphia, Aunt Erin came from Indiana, Aunt Betsey came from Iowa and Aunt Bobbie came from Ohio. It was a full house.

Aunt Betsey was able to enjoy some "quality" Adeline time before everyone arrived. Adeline did not want to leave Aunt Betsey's side.

Uncle John and Candy came over and spent a good part of the day with us. Adeline really loves her Uncle John and enjoyed playing football with him.

Of course where ever Adeline goes many follow. This was her enjoying ice cream while every one watched. She didn't seem to mind.

We went to the Pumpkin patch in Sunday but it was so hot. In the picture right above you see Adeline with Daddy and Aunt Erin. She absolutely did not want me in the picture. I am not sure what I did but I wasn't invited. I decided not to take it personal. I also didn't pack appropriately so by the end of our time Adeline was just in her diaper. I was jealous.
Adeline had a fun ride to and from the Country Mill with her two entertainers. They were just cracking up.
Since Viper's due date is the middle of January and Andrew is due February 3 (Josh's actual birthday) we decided to throw him a surprise 30th birthday party. Josh did not expect it.
Adeline helped Uncle Josh open his presents.

Daddy was very happy with his gift for Josh. Josh seemed to like it.
Adeline really liked Uncle Josh's gift of pretzels. She quickly became his best pal.
A happy birthday hug.
Kisses for Great Grandpa.
Snuggle time with Aunt Erin.
More pretzels with Uncle Josh and Aunt Bethany.
Thanks for the great weekend.
