Great night with Great friends....

We just had a wonderful night with friends.  Although the Morse family lives further away the time that we share together is as though we have just seen them.  These kids have grown up together and love each other.  This family is very dear to our hearts.
Tonight we grilled out and then headed out to Country Dairy for some ice cream.  The kids as you can tell had a ton of fun and as you can see enjoyed their ice cream!

Andrew's Fourth Spring Soccer Game 2014

What a great game for Grandpa to come to.  This little guy turned it on and got five goals.  Pretty exciting and as you can tell they were both pretty pumped!!!

Playdate with Eli

Super fun day playing legos, jumping on the trampoline, and building planes with these two knuckle heads...now we're on our way to pick up Addy from school.

Field Day 2014

We needed to make sure someone looked super cute for Field Day.  I think she sure did pull if off!!!  Unfortunately parents aren't invited to the field day but I heard it was soooooo much fun!!

Andrew's Instructions on flying paper airplanes....

Can you get any cuter than this??  We had so much fun making paper airplanes together (thank you Grandma Kay).  This boy is just too cute for words.

Andrew loves his new vest Nana

It's pretty warm out but not too warm to wear Andrew's cool vest he got from Nana.  This boy loves to dress himself and feels especially handsome today.

Chilly Memorial Day fun!!

We all met about half way in South Haven for the day.  It was not the greatest beach day and the water was about 50 degrees but the sun did come out and it was nice to spend the day with family.  As you can see the cooler temps did not discourage the kids one bit.

Look at that determined face.
Playing in the sand with Brooklynn
Aunt Erin throwing the football with Andrew.  Andrew also threw with James and Uncle Josh and according to Andrew he likes playing with Uncle Josh better.
Charcoal hamburgers and hot dogs.....yum!!
Cute shot of all four kids sitting on top of Aunt Erins trunk.

Nice day at Nana's with cousins

Nice afternoon for a cookout at Mom's.  The kids had fun playing together.  They especially loved the hammock and flipping around in it.

Nana and her granddaughters
Andrew was fascinated watching Michael playing some video game.  I think the whole point to the game was to kill a dragon....doesn't sound fun to me but they were totally into it.

Donuts for EVERYONE!!!!

While I was making donuts this morning the kids wanted to make some for their "kids".  So here you have it...
Tim, Jerry, Kevin and Min Min all enjoying their donut breakfast

And Rebecca, Violet, and Harmony all enjoying their donuts.
They look pretty good.
Adeline and Andrew decided to eat the real ones instead.  They actually finished theirs before their kids.

Tire Swing Fun!!!

Crazy long, cold winter makes us want to take advantage of all Spring has to give us.  Daddy was nominated this time to push the tire swing.  Thankfully no kids got sick.

Frosty O...Oh how we love you!!!

It's time to start using our punch card......it's way too tempting having Frosty O so close.  Especially now that the kids are big bike riders.

Celebration Lunch with our soon to be kindergartner....

Just like with Adeline we wanted to go out and celebrate.  Andrew and I rode to meet Daddy at work and take him out for lunch.
Oh Buddy, you're growing up too fast.
My two handsome men...so blessed
Looking at Andrew's portfolio....he was so proud of his work.  And we are so proud of him.

Andrew's Last Day of Preschool Picnic

So hard to believe that this day has already come.  I don't even want to think about next year and Andrew being in school all day, every day.  For today we will enjoy a very fun year.  Andrew learned a lot about independence, and relationships this year.  I am very thankful for his teacher Mrs. Jensen and her caring heart.
I am also extremely thankful for Grandpa Bean and his generosity for paying for Andrew's preschool.  I wish we were in a better financial position so that we could pay for this for the kids.  But I am thankful the Lord provided a way through Grandpa Bean.  Thank You!!
Andrew and his best bud Nathan
Andrew and Braydon.....Batman
Love this boy....he wanted to pose for a few pictures.
I don't know what I was thinking dressing him in khaki shorts for the park after a rainy night....they ended up being quite brown when we were done.
Morgan, Owen, Cal and Andrew
And a picture of Andrew with Mrs. Jensen
We were given a portfolio filled with all of Andrew's work, pictures, and memories throughout the year.
Thank you for all of your hard work Mrs. Jensen....we sure do appreciate you.

Olivia's birthday party

Before we went to McSports we went to Kangaroo Palace to celebrate Olivia's birthday.  We love Olivia!!!!  She is such a great kid.

Andrew's Third Spring Soccer Game 2014

I don't know if Andrew was nervous about today with Grandma and Grandpa Bean being there or what but he was like a zombie out on the field.  It is like he sometimes zones out during the game.  He still played hard and thankfully was great after the game.  The whole team seemed to be a bit out of it during the game.

Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to MCSports to pick out some cool shirts and a soccer goal.  Adeline wasn't took sure about her shirt because it says "I don't play nice I play ball".....She always wants to be nice...too sweet.  Andrew loves his cool Batman shirt and can't wait to show it to his friend Nathan.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the net and clothes!!!!   And for coming up to support Andrew.

Adeline's school field trip...

And of course in May after having a very hot week....the one day Adeline has her field trip and it is raining and cold.  Andrew was going to have a playdate with a friend while I went with Adeline but first thing this morning I got a call and they were all sick through the night.  So thankfully Miss. Bulthuis allowed Andrew to come along.  Let's just say that because of the weather I don't think anyone was really excited about this trip.  And did I mention that we were outside all day....yup!  Alright enough complaining, time to put on my happy face for the kids.
We divided up into groups and for the first part of the morning we went through the park checking soil, looking for different leaves, flowers, insects.  Unfortunately because there was so much rain many of the bridges were covered with water and because of the cold Spring many of the plants hadn't bloomed yet.  The kids hung in there and enjoyed writing in their journals, and drawing pictures.
Andrew sure did feel like a big kid walking with all the second graders.  I'm not going to lie, it would have been a lot easier if he weren't here but he did pretty well and for that I am thankful.
 Addy and Lakeland
Alex, Mallory, and Addy
Before we got all the lunches out the workers told us they were going to have us eat outside.  Did I mention that it was wet, raining, and cold.  I don't know what they were thinking because the picnic tables were soaked.  Thankfully we talked them into letting us stay inside.
Andrew with Defonte and one of the twins either Talon or Taylor.
Addy decorated Andrew's lunch bag and I just had to take a picture.  What a sweet sister.
 Me and my little lady
We're about to head off to the pond study....after watching a fun 1980's informational film.
This was the kids most favorite part.  We caught a couple tadpoles.  Some were in the in-between stage of becoming frogs (top right)....pretty cool.
 Defonte with his finds
My group, Defonte, Adeline, Lakeland, and Andrew
Andrew getting some extra help from one of the helpers.
We survived it...and it really did turn out to be a fun day even with our soaked shoes and socks.  I made sure to bring Adeline some new shoes and socks to change into when they all made it back to the school.
