After lathering the kids up in sunscreen and waiting for Uncle Josh who arrived the night before we were packed and ready. And then just as we were about to leave it started to rain. Uncle Josh and Aunt Bethany were all about playing in the rain with the kids which I thought was awesome. I conveniently thought that this would be a good time for me to go and do my final shopping for the party. The following pictures are courtesy of Aunt Bethany.
Adeline made a comment about the day being spoiled because of the rain...
...and then while playing outside she was quoted saying "this is the best day ever!". Quite the turnaround.
What a great action shot! Andrew looks like he was having a great time.
Brookynn was not as crazy about this and needed some love from her Daddy.
I think they look happier here than at the beach.
