It was so hot! As soon as we got there I was already sweating. We met Joanne and Joelle at the gate, lathered up the kids with sunscreen and were off. I didn't mention this to Joanne but it always takes Andrew some time to warm up to people even if he knows them but hasn't seen them in awhile. But with her he went right up and gave her a hug. You are in Joanne!
Adeline was all about carrying the map of the zoo so that she could be our guide. First stop, the hatching egg.
If you can't tell Andrew was not interested in sitting in the egg.
Surprisingly I pushed an empty double jogger most of the day. I thought that at least Andrew would want to sit in it, but he was much more interested in walking like everyone else.
We actually caught the show of the sea lions.
It was really fun and the kids enjoyed watching them swim around and do flips and tricks.
This picture is very cute to me because Andrew did not want to sit when I asked him to for a picture but after he saw us taking pictures of the girls he sat right down and posed for the camera. I think that might have been the first time that he posed rather than saying "cheese".
Watch out...we are in the jungle.
Adeline needed to relax.
Adeline's hand inside the mold of the Orangutan. Listen to Joelle in this video. She keeps saying that the Orangutan looks like her dad. Poor guy.
