Adeline actually missed her first practice which was last week when we were in New York. This was her first practice with a new team and a new coach. We were pretty attached to our last coach but Adeline's birthday came four days within the cut off which put her in U8 instead of U6. Before we got out of the car we prayed that she would know someone on her team and that she would have a fun practice.
As soon as we made it to the field Adeline saw one teammate from last year and then a new friend named Jersey that sits next to her in class. We were both relieved. It's going to be a different coaching style but with it being all girls we're hoping for a fun season.
One of my most favorite parts about watching Adeline practice is sitting with this handsome little guy.
