This year the weather was beautiful. But this trip didn't start on a positive foot (for me at least). I was disappointed when we came in to find out that the prices had been raised....but not only that, they limited what you could do without buying a wrist band. Our kids loved the jumping pumpkin and the bouncing pillow the most and unfortunately in order to do that we would have to buy the band, instead of paying 1.00. So instead of paying 3.00-4.00 we would have had to spend 12.00 each. And this year everyone had to pay just to get in. I was not happy...actually cranky...and I felt bad for everyone around me who seemed to be handling it better than me (although they too were disappointed). In my defense I was so looking forward to this time and doing all of the things that we had done before and especially all the things the kids we looking forward to. And when I couldn't, I got mad, and when I get mad I tell everyone about it, and then get quiet and withdraw. The kids thankfully handled it well, Adeline only had two times where she was sad when we told her she couldn't do something. After I had some time to cool off I apologized for my behavior to my surrounding friends. And of course after apologizing, I was picked on for apologizing. I'm just a sensitive girl I guess. That was just the first five or ten minutes of the trip. After that I chose to make the most of our day with our kids and friends. James was thankful :)
