Both kids backs were still quite pink and tender to the touch so they stayed back at the house with James while I had three hours to myself on the beach. It was a very nice day on the beach but it felt weird not talking for three hours :-)
Since they didn't make it to the beach during the day we decided to have an evening on the beach when the sun wasn't so hot. We picked up a pizza and had dinner on the beach. It turned out to be a great time. We stayed until the sunset....tons of fun.
As you can see the kids had no problem in the water.
