Two days in a row we were accompanied by the Corbin girls. Andrew has never gone without a nap intentionally and has only been without one maybe once in his entire life. When I called Angela both days letting her know I was taking the kids she wasn't able to make it until a little later. So since I was there earlier with the kids once they showed up it almost seemed like we had just arrived also. That then led to me being oblivious to time. We were having so much fun and the kids were doing so well that the first day we didn't leave until 4 and the second day we didn't leave until 5. We spent a lot of time in the "deep" as we call it. This is where Adeline and Andrew have been practicing their swimming skills. Adeline can now swim successfully under water without plugging her nose and uses her arms to swim. She is doing so well. Andrew will close his eyes and swim with half of his face under water and then come up and say "Tah-Dah" Maya is also mastering the art of swimming, as is Sophie.
Maya and Sophie brought a fun floatie toy that all the kids enjoyed.
Adeline and Maya were working on building sand castles while Sophie and Andrew were in the water.
Addy and Maya both with their goggles on, ready to go in the "deep" as soon as Mommy gets up.
Sweet Sophie...she is so cute.
Andrew has been all about his hat. It hangs on his bed when he sleeps and now he wears it every time we go to the beach.
After we packed up and promised the kids ice cream we realized it was 5:00. Daddy's would be getting home for dinner soon so we needed to hurry. Of course the kids all wanted to ride in the van for the half a mile it took to get to the ice cream shop. I think Leap Frog had something to do with it.
Angela then treated us all to ice cream.
Thank you for the wonderful day girls! We had a great time.
