At Grandma and Grandpa's church auction they bought a pool party. We drove down Saturday to Marshall to help them redeem their purchase. If you can remember, Saturday was very rainy. It was literally raining everywhere but where we were. We were so thankful because apparently this was the only weekend that worked with the hosting family.

Andrew took awhile to warm up to the water. He loves Duck Lake where it is all shallow but when it comes to big lakes or pools he is very apprehensive.
Adeline is another story...she is a fish.
We instantly changed her into her suit, put on her new goggles and in she went.
The longest at this point that she can hold her breath under water is 12 seconds. Good job Addy!
Andrew was more interested in kicking the ball to Grandpa.

He knows he can't go in the water without floaties or an adult.
Our hosts grilled hot dogs and hamburgers with a large variety of other foods and then treated us to banana splits. Andrew enjoyed some Blue Moon ice cream and Adeline had vanilla with chocolate syrup.
