This party was pretty much the coolest ever....and it is all because of our friend Jeff. Jeff is a part of our life group and is also a firefighter. His wife Heidi came up to me at Awana and said "Jeff is working at the station during the party and he was wondering if Andrew might want a visit from the firetruck". My response was "Yes, yes". I never would have thought to ask something like that and to have it offered was so caring and thoughtful.
We were all hot inside the house which is why none of us have coats on. The kids didn't seem to mind the bitter cold when they saw the firetruck.
Jeff was great. Dressed in his gear with hats for all the kids, coloring books, tattoo's, pencils and more.
Nick (Jeff's son), knew right where to go once he got in the truck.
Andrew was a little attached to Daddy but he was still very excited. And as you can see, so was Sissy.
