On an earlier post I got this comment...
"So happy that I found this blog! This is Katie Weipert's Mom. Katie was asking me today if I could find her best buddy Adeline. Katie said she will "never be happy again" if she doesn't see Adeline! Katie was one of Adeline's best friends she made at preschool. I immediately contacted Heidi with hopes of setting something up. Adeline was having her "bring a friend" night at Awana so I invited Katie. It turned out that she could make it and we were going to have her come early so that the girls could reunite and play.
We showed up about five minutes later than I had told them we would be there and saw Katie being carried out in tears. They went into the building and saw that we weren't there and Katie was afraid she had missed Adeline. When Katie turned around and saw Adeline she wiped her tears away and ran to her. They both gave each other the biggest hug and played the rest of the time. It was so sweet to watch this special relationship. A bond they made at such a young age.
Katie had such a great time that she plans to start coming every week! Adeline is so excited to see Katie again. She just loves her :)
