The kids look so cute today.  Andrew got a much needed hair cut and Adeline is wearing one of her new dresses she got for her birthday.

Jumping the waves

It was a very wavy day on lake Michigan.  When the Morse family left Addy, Andrew and I decided to stay a little longer and jump the waves.  We were out there for a long time.  It was so much fun.  The water was warm and the kids were having fun.  They each have a big tube and that's what they were in while I was holding them.

Days like these seem harder to plan.  I'm thankful for today and the beautiful weather.  The kids had a blast.

The rest of our afternoon

After the Dune ride we took a few pictures and then headed to the beach.

The kids all enjoyed a fun time on the beach.  We were later joined by John and his gang along with James who drove up after some church responsibilities.

 For dinner we stopped at the Whippi Dip and hung out for awhile before heading home.

A stop at the top

We took a stop at the top of the tallest dune and they let us all out.  The boys immediately ran down and then they realized they had to come back up....

 They made it back exhausted.

Then we all went down....and we all made it back up.  Even though the sand was super hot.  At one point Andrew said he couldn't go any further and I had to carry him.  My poor knees were crying for help.  But we finally made it to the top.

Fun memories!!!

Mac Dune Rides

Aunt Aleisha, Michael, and Aliyah all stayed the night and we got up and drove to Silver Lake for a fun filled day.  Uncle John, his girlfriend Angela and her three kids Haley, Ava, and Adan also stayed the night and came.  They did not do the ride but met us later at the beach.  This was Aunt Aleisha's treat to us which was extremely generous and kind.

Adeline was super excited to get a bike seat for Rebecca from Aunt Aleisha, Michael and Aliyah.  James put it right on for her.  Rebecca is all set..even with her super safe helmet!

Birthday cake and presents....

I love that Addy is the age where she is able to read what is written in her card and truly appreciate the words and gift.  Very happy for my little Rock Star.  Such blessings with family and friends who came to share in her special day.

Time to dance!!!

Aunt Erin totally made the party!  She choreographed a fun dance for the kids to learn and then perform....the adults got to participate too.  This was a blast!  All of the kids had fun, and most of the adults (minus all of the too cool Dad's that chose not to participate).

James had a game going on with the kids where they were being chased by paparazzi.

Andrew and Ava were being chased this time.  I love this smile on Andrew's face.  Normally during Adeline's parties he is not he most fun to be around.....at least during this time he was having fun.  And he is actually dressed as a Rock Star.
