Mother's day Brunch

 A nice afternoon brunch after church celebrating Mother's Day.

James left church early to get a table and the only one left was the "naked lady" table.

Thankfully the kids were sitting below it and didn't have to look at it the entire lunch.  I'm sure Andrew would have made jokes about it the entire time.

Peter Pan

We weren't planning on it but after Aliyah's party when we left we had just enough time to make it to a play the Bean's were all at.  After the play we were able to spend a little time with the Goshen Beans.  This was a special day for Addy and Andrew to be able to see all of their cousins.

Andrew is so sweet with Gabby.  He just loves her.

Aliyah's Birthday Party!!

She is six folks....she may be little but don't let that fool you.  This little lady is super smart and full of spunk.  Just look how cute she is.

Kindergarten Work Rocks!!!

School Carnival

The kids and I went to the school carnival.  The kids helped me set up a few rooms and get things ready before it began.  They both had great attitudes and were very good helpers.  Daddy arrived midway through and was able to take the kids home after it was all done so I could help tear down.

We jumped in the bounce house, played a ton of games, picked out a prize...won a cup cake,

Adeline and Kanani

Adeline and her new doll Kanani.  She just got her yesterday from Nana and Papa and she wanted to bring her in to school to show her friends.  So while I was here at the school helping set up for the school carnival Adeline played with Kanani.

Andrew's First T-ball Game

We're here and we're all ready....  He's a bit nervous but he is going to do just fine. 

There were three innings.  Each kid got to go up to bat and every one crossed home plate.  So....it's not very intense but it is great for picking up the fundamentals.  Andrew had three great hits, a grounder, and a great throw to first base.

Some of the time Andrew looked a bit dazed standing out on the field waiting for a ball to come his way.  That concentration will come in time.  Hard to concentrate when there isn't much going on.  I'm sure as the season goes on it will get more intense.  But he sure did like to hit and run the bases.  At the end of the game the kids had to run again to the fence and back....and of course Andrew turned up the speed to be the first one back.

The Wubble Ball

Andrew and Sully had a good time on the trampoline today playing with the wubble ball.  We'll see how long it takes until it pops!

One Room School House

Adeline had a field trip to the one room school house today.  This is a field trip where numbers were limited so no parents were able to attend and Adeline's class had to spit in half going on two different days.  She looks so cute!

She had a great time.  She talked about writing on her own slate, playing unique games, and having to sit up straight (the teacher went around with a ruler to put down the middle of your back to make sure it was straight).  She loved it.  And how fun that she had this great outfit to wear.  So sweet!!!

The uniform is ready!!!

I found a coupon in my emails for pants, socks, and a belt for the same price I bought pants for Andrew this weekend.  So we went and picked them up at Extra Innings.  This little guy was pretty pumped to get in his uniform.  These poses were all his own.  The smile needed no encouraging.

Game time tomorrow.....and we're all ready!

An afternoon with the Corbins

Days like these are pretty rare.  To spend the afternoon with our good friends, just our families, with no time constraint.  It was a beautiful day spent with good conversation, happy kids, delicious dinner, a beautiful walk, and a yummy birthday cake.

Frosty O's

After a fun day of playing outside, going for a bike ride, going to the park, going to the store for baseball pants and a glove for Addy we decided to end it at Frosty O's.  Come on Summer!
