Second Place for best Design!!!

Everyone that was at the race voted for their top three picks for best design.  And guess who got second place????  That's right, Miss Adeline Bean with her car "Sugar Rush"!  Good Job Addy Kay (and Daddy).

"Sugar Rush's" Run to the finish line

Each run Adeline's car did better in time.  I love how that is all she cared about.  It didn't seem to bother her that she came in last each time.  I hope that positive attitude never changes!!!  We tried to see if her car did better running backwards but it didn't.
We were very proud of Adeline and "Sugar Rush".

Awana Grand Prix

We showed up at the church and had Adeline's car registered and weighed.
Then we put Addy's car in with all the other's.
I love how two of the cars already have trophy's on them.  Such a great idea...pretty funny.
A picture of some of the kids that participated.  And Andrew....because he was not happy about not being in the picture....

Afternoon lunch and good bye's

After church we headed back to the house for lunch.  I was impressed with how little clean up there was to do.  I am so used to when we have company over with their small kids, there is always food all over the floor.  But the Williamson kids are 11, 9, and 7 so there was no food on the floor.  So funny at what you notice.
I pulled out many old pictures of Nisae and I.  It was fun to look back and remember all the fun times we had.  It was also fun for her kids to see because I guess Nisae doesn't have many pictures.
It was a quick visit but a wonderful time.  We continue to pray for the Williamson's as they reach those that haven't heard the gospel in Tobo.  I remember when we were little, Nisae always wanted to be a missionary.  She has an amazing story.....I'm so blessed to call her friend.

Picture's of the kids and a Dance Party!!

Adeline, Eden, and Kadynn had a sleepover in Adeline's room.  It took them awhile to fall asleep, lots of giggles and laughter.  Adeline and Eden hope to be pen pals.  I would love this and hope that it works out.
Andrew and Judah also had a sleepover.  Both boys were very tired and fell asleep quickly.  Andrew was very excited about having Judah in his room, his first sleepover.
We'll see how this picture will change in three to four years.
And what's a visit to the Bean's without a dance party?????

Breakfast with the Williamson's

The Williamson's got to our house late last night.  They are speaking at our church today and then heading back home mid afternoon.  I am really praying that our church can take them on as missionaries, and this is the first step.  The Williamson's will be going back to Papua New Guinea in a few weeks and probably won't be back for another four years.  So this is a very quick visit but we hope to spend some quality time.  Last night we adults talked for a long time.  We just had a good time, great friends, great conversation.
I think I made around 40 donuts for breakfast.  And there weren't any left over :)

Building "Sugar Rush"

Adeline and Daddy worked very hard to build Adeline's car for the Awana Grand Prix Race tomorrow.  After watching Wreck It Ralph Adeline decided to call her car "sugar rush".  James made a special hole for Adeline's Lego character. We'll see how "sugar rush" does tomorrow.....

Proud Pictures

Adeline with her friend Chayse and their awards for completing this session of cheerleading.
Afterwards they had cookies and punch for everyone.  Andrew really wanted to sit next to his sister.  He was very proud of her.

Adeline's Cheerleading Performance

Today was the big day that all the parents and siblings came to watch the girls perform all of the cheers they have learned in the last eight weeks.  Adeline was very excited about this time, as were we.
I just love Adeline's optimistic/care free personality.  She just loves to have fun.  She did very well on each cheer.  Next fall they do this again and she says she wants to do pom-poms next.  We'll see.....

And here are all fourteen cheers....enjoy!!!!

Super fun Floor Exercises

Pizza, cupcakes, and presents....

The kids all sat and ate pizza and cupcakes while Jaely opened all of her gifts.  They sure had fun!
Messy hands....
Sophie had this headband and decided to put it on Andrew.
Thank you for inviting us to your party Jaely!  Happy Birthday!

Adeline's favorite part

The kids got to bounce!  With the rope the staff would pull them up and the kids would flip themselves over.
Jaely went....
And then Maya....
And then Addy...
Adeline has had a lot of practice with this with her Daddy.  He always pulls them up while they flip around.
After everyone had their turn the kids laid down and played pop the popcorn!
