Bean kids....

Bean kids minus Aunt Betsey.  I think the hat is a little low Josh :)
Big brothers with their little sister.
Hard to believe even that next year all the bean kids will be in their thirty's.

Swing your Partner.....

Todd ran the show and James ran the music!  Thanks guys, this was such a FUN time.

Andrew and Addy loved dancing down the line with their partners.

Addy even got to dance with Uncle Josh.
And yes, James did dance.

Grandpa even went out and got a new outfit AND I was quite impressed that he stayed out on the dance floor the whole time.  Good job Grandpa!

Time for the Hoedown!

Every one got dressed up and tried to sneak out to the barn and wait for Erin.  Just the week before I had finished Adeline's Jessie costume and my Mom had given me a pair of chaps that fit Andrew perfectly.  The kids were so excited.
Happy cousins excited for the music to start.

Happy 30th Birthday Aunt Erin!

For Aunt Erin's 30th we all went to Spring Arbor for a fun family hay ride and to follow a surprise hoedown. The kids and every one else just loved it.  It was perfect weather to be bundled up and ride outside.  Aunt Erin didn't know all that was going on she was just along for the ride.

What a blessing it is to have such a large, loving, supportive family.
Andrew was with Grandpa of course.
Addy and Brooke
The four Bean grand kids.  It's so nice with Josh and Bethany back so close.
Todd was the man of the day.  He took us on the very scenic hay ride and he also put on the hoedown.  Thank you Todd....you made this night so memorable.

Lunch with the Principal

Adeline was SO excited.  Her name, along with a few other's was drawn to have lunch with the Principal.  They even brought in food from Texas Roadhouse.  Adeline ordered Macaroni and Cheese with fries.  She also ordered extra ketchup. (for those of you that don't know Adeline eats macaroni WITH her ketchup).  I asked Adeline if she was going to go easy on the ketchup...and she said "No Mom, it asked you for ketchup....the macaroni comes with ketchup".

Adeline's Walk-A-Thon

Andrew and I came over to participate with Adeline in her walk-a-thon.  Thank you to every one who supported Adeline for her walk. She had a blast.
Andrew was a little tired because I woke him up from his nap but after awhile he perked up.
We walked a few laps with Adeline's friend Logan.  The girls just giggled the whole way.

Before Adeline had to go back inside I got a picture of her with her friend Mallory.

Michigan game on the Big Screen

Grandpa Forte came back to the house for the day to spend some time with us and the kids.  He and James watched the Michigan game together while I sewed our Halloween costumes, and the kids napped.  Thankfully Michigan won.

After dinner we all watched "Chimpanzee"

Adeline Best Game Video's

Lot's of video's.....but totally worth it!

Adeline's Second Soccer Game 10/20/12 Pictures

This game was a bit different than the previous one.  I think all of the girls had just eaten lunch and then were back out on the field.  They were tired, and slow.  Each time Adeline was off the field she would come and lay down.  It was so funny.  There is so much running in soccer and the girls are not used to playing two games, they were just exhausted.  The team that they played, played their first game at 9:30 so they had a little bit more recoup time.

A very happy Adeline with her end of the year trophy!  Good Job Baby!
Adeline with her friend Katelyn from the opposing team....
Nana and Papa also drove all the way up to watch Adeline play.  Since Papa's accident he hasn't been able to drive so Nana did!  And that is very big!  It takes confidence for Nana to drive and patience for Papa to ride :)
Thank you so much for coming to watch Adeline!  We were so happy to see you and give you hugs!  We love you both so much!
A proud Mommy with her little lady.  As my Mom put it in a letter "glad to see the loud bleacher mom tradition continue".  She enjoyed watching me get into the game.  And I'm pretty sure I heard her voice a couple of times too.....

Adeline's First Soccer Game 10/20/12 Pictures

Grandpa Forte came up for the day to watch Adeline play soccer and hang out with the family.  Adeline has two games today.  Her first one is at 11:30 and the second is at 1:30.  They seem pretty close together with just enough time for lunch. James was working so he missed this game but I kept calling him giving him updates.
This was the game to be at.  Adeline played AWESOME!  I can't fully explain just how well she did but the whole "aloof" Adeline was not present.  Adeline was fast, aggressive, focused, and intent on kicking the ball where it needed to go.  I was so proud of her and so happy that my Dad was able to be there and see it.  There is a post following with MANY videos.  You don't have to watch them all (because there are 13 of them), but watch a few and see how well she did.
Andrew with Grandpa Forte cheering on Sissy.
We played the yellow team a couple of weeks ago and lost but this time we came out with the win!

Thank you Grandpa Forte for coming!  We love you!
