We spent the day Sunday with my Mom and Keith. It was a REALLY nice time. We went to their church with John and Candy and then went out to eat. Adeline wore her matching outfit with her doll Natalia and looked super cute. We then spent the rest of the day back at their house. Adeline and Andrew opened their Easter baskets and played with their new toys. Adeline was especially excited about her silly putty. Andrew liked his eggs and practised putting them in Nana's mouth. Adeline kept tooting on Papa until we made her sit on the potty and go #2. Andrew was everywhere and really liked to climb the table and look through the glass. He and Papa had a lot of fun with it. Thank you for the GREAT time. As you can see the kids were exhausted when we left....knocked out.

Celebrating Aunt Betsey's Birthday
We traveled down to Olivet for the weekend to celebrate Aunt Betsey's Birthday. Saturday James, Joann, and Betsey went skiing/snow boarding and the kids and I stayed back at the house with Grandma. Grandma played with the kids all day and gave me a few hours to myself so that I could work out and drive into Charlotte. Later when Grandpa got home from work we took the kids out into the snow. Neither one was a fan of sledding.....Andrew just wanted Grandpa to hold him and Addy just wanted to make snow balls and snow men. (click on the picture of Andrew and Grandma sledding....Grandma is smiling but Andrew isn't quite as happy)
We had a nice time, relaxing and enjoying family. It is so nice with James new schedule...he only works one Saturday every two months.
Happy Birthday Aunt Betsey! We love you and are very proud of you.

Todays bathroom conversation
Before nap time:
Mommy- Adeline let's go potty before you go lay down.
Adeline- I don't have to go
Mommy- Let's just try
Adeline- Ok....but if nothing comes out then I don't have to go
Mommy- Ok
While sitting on the potty: (Adeline starts to pee)
Mommy- See I told you, you had to go
Adeline- Yup! You were right...I'm glad I turned the fan on to get all the stink out because I have to poop.
Mommy- Good job! We don't want that stinky in here
Adeline- When the stinky leaves it goes into the snow
Mommy- Actually the fan takes it up into the attic
Adeline- What's the attic
Mommy- The attic is the part of the house that is below the roof and above the ceiling
Adeline- Oh. But my Daddy told me that the stinky goes in the attic and then out into the snow to make stinky snow
Mommy- Oh he did...well I guess that is right
After dropping a few turds:
Adeline- Did you hear that Mommy....I just pushed out some poo poo....can I look at it
Mommy- Sure. When you are all done
Adeline- Mommy, do you have to go poo poo?
Mommy- Actually I think that I do.
Adeline- You can poop on my poop....and then our poop will be together....and then we can leave it here for Daddy...and then when he sees it we can say "surprise, look at our poo poo"....and he will say that is gross and stinky
Mommy- (laughing hard) Maybe
Don't worry James, I flushed the toilet.

Can you guess what movie night was????
Tinker Bell
Tonight's showing was Tinker Bell. Adeline hardly moved the entire time. Andrew on the other hand was a different story. This boy is into everything. He especially loves light switches and door knobs. I remember us having to teach Adeline how to open door knobs (actually it was Aunt Betsey), but I don't think we will have to with Andrew.

Charity's daycare...?...?
Missy's mother in law was sick so she needed someone to watch her kids while she was at work. I wasn't sure if I could do it (5 kids in all...two babies) but I did. Things went very smoothly and the kids played great. It was only for a couple of hours but I really enjoyed it. Would I ever consider daycare....probably not, but another kid someday???? Yes....I think so.

Their private play room
Recently we put up Adeline's new "Big, Big Bed" and dresser from Nana and Papa. She loves it and it is so nice to lay with her and not be all scrunched up. I will show pics of the bed soon....still in search of comforter and bedding. So now with the dresser I moved most of Addy's clothes into it and out of the closet which freed up some space and allowed me to store the toys. The kids now play in there many times a day with the door closed. I thought Andrew would be scared but he really likes it and often doesn't want to come out.
