Hard to believe it is already time for my little one to go to kindergarten. Tonight I went to Andrew's kindergarten round up to get a bunch of information. Unlike Adeline who only went for a half day Andrew will be going all day every day. Insert Tear Here.

Adeline's Fifth Basketball Game 2014
Hard to believe the season is already over. Adeline and James had so much fun playing and learning basketball. Today was a make up game from a previous cancellation. All of the parents made signs to cheer on their player....some parents even brought cow bells.
Each girl got a certificate for playing and a special award from coach Bean. Adeline was very proud of her "most aggressive" award.
Thanks for the great season Coach Bean!

Fun in the snow!!!!
All the other surrounding schools were closed today. Only Mona Shores and Muskegon public stayed open. There was a lot of snow, and it was nice and warm outside. The sun was even shining. This was perfect playing weather. When Adeline came home the kids and I went directly outside. We stayed out for three hours until it got dark. We had so much fun together building snowmen, snow hills, and making snow angels. The snow was above my knees so it was pretty hard to walk in especially for the kids but it was perfect packing snow.
Adeline and Andrew's snowmen/woman
Carrot for the nose and chocolate chips for the eyes and mouth.
And a few chocolate chips for the creators.
The kids and I (mostly me) built a fun snow hill. I then made a path for the kids to sled down. Unfortunately my snow hill was not wide enough for them to climb up themselves and sled down but with my help they each took multiple trips. This was the highlight of our time.
I love my kids!!!
Someone is tuckered out....
After a super fun couple of days with cousins who wake up a couple hours before my kids are used to Andrew put himself to sleep on the couch. He just couldn't keep his eyes open. This never happens.....I could run the vacuum and he wouldn't even move....

Weekend with Aunt Aleisha, Michael and Aliyah!!!
Aunt Aleisha and the kids were not able to make it to Andrew's party because the roads were so bad. So they made a special trip to come, stay the night, play, and bring Andrew his birthday gift. We had such a great time together and to top it off when they were planning to head home the weather got bad again so they stayed another night!
How did Aunt Aleisha know that this was just what Andrew wanted? A Fart gun. I don't know because I didn't tell her. Let's just say Andrew went CRAZY!!!!! Like really CRAZY!!! Aunt Aleisha said that his response made the entire trip!
Boys cousins hanging out doing what???? Playing video games of course :-)
Michael is such a good big cousin.
When they put the word cute in the dictionary I think they were thinking of Aliyah. Aliyah is just this little tiny ball of cute. Filled with laughter, smiles, and a whole lot of spunk.
Coloring with the littles.
Adeline and Aunt Aleisha went down to the basement to read Little House together. With Aunt Aleisha being a school teacher it was a special moment to share.
Thanks for coming and spending time with us. We love you!

Bedtime with Rebecca
Adeline now calls her Becky, because in some of the books that is what she is called. Adeline is reading to Rebecca all about Laura Ingalls....she must like listening to it because Rebecca or "Becky" didn't make a peep the entire time.....

Happy Valentines Day
Both Adeline and Andrew had today off for their Winter Break. We enjoyed a nice morning together and got all dressed up for Valentine's Day. After going to the gym we went to the store and got Daddy a balloon and candy to surprise him with. I love the kids excitement when they know they are doing something special for their Daddy. They sure do love him.
We met and had lunch with Daddy.
See...they really do love each other.
I did a fun heart braid in Adeline's hair. I'm glad she still lets me do this. We finished off the afternoon with a lot of painting and crafts.

Andrew's form of dress-up
Pretty cute in glasses if I do say so myself. I like the added bow he put on his shirt and the tilt of his hat.

Playdate with Eli
Andrew and Eli had another play date today. They are getting to become pretty good friends. We have now established a new "no wrestling" rule. The boys just get too carried away and normally it is Andrew who is getting too rough. I don't want my son to be looked at as a bully :-) He just isn't old/mature enough to recognize his own strength and know when to stop. Thankfully no one has been hurt....

Great Wolf Lodge
Thank you for the wonderful weekend of fun! It was such a nice escape from the cold. The kids had a blast and so did James and I. Thank you for your love and investment in our lives.
Water Park Finale
We finished up the rest of our fun weekend here at the water park. The last time we were here Adeline was three and Andrew was eight months http://addykay.blogspot.com/2009/09/great-wolf-lodge.html . Look how much they've grown. Last time Andrew was such a chunk and just sat in the little pool. This year we were able to go on all the rides with the kids. Probably next time they won't even need James or I to go with them....well hopefully not, I hope they always need/want us.
The kids along with Daddy and Grandpa played water basketball.
I was very impressed how Grandpa just got right in the water. He was the first adult to get wet I think both days.
Lazy river with the kids.
If you look back at the older post you'll see Adeline and Daddy from the last time. Our little girl isn't so little anymore.
This Lily pad video is my favorite because of Adeline. You see how she falls because she can't hold herself up but then she starts to just fall on purpose. Such a little stinker.
My babes!
Almost time to say good-bye....thank you Grandpa and Grandma!
We finished our time with one more pounding of water from the enormous water bucket. I did it a couple times and it was fun but I am surprised the kids can continue standing.....I would think the water would just knock them over.
Making t-shirts in the craft room....
Another part of the pass was making a t-shirt or pillow case in their craft room. We spent a very long time in here. The kids each chose a t-shirt and began to color it. Adeline did hers all by herself and I followed Andrew's strict instruction on which color to use on which letter. He did the rest of the shirt by himself, I just helped with a small part.
I like the picture above of Andrew and James coloring in the paw print on the back. My two lefty's. This was a fun time for me to just sit with the kids and craft. They both seemed to enjoy it too.
Fun in the arcade
We all got packed up and dressed in our swimsuits ready for a fun day. Rebecca got ready too but she did not go into the water park.... The kids had a lot of tokens with their pass so we headed to the arcade to see how many tickets we could win.
Adeline has becoming a pro in ski ball.
Of course Andrew would want to play a shooting game.
Adeline, Violet and all of their tickets.
Andrew feeding all of his tickets into the machine.
Daddy helped the kids decide on what they were going to get with all of their tickets.
