Adeline's second soccer game
It was a cold and rainy day.
Nana and Papa drove all the way up to sit in the cold and cheer Adeline on.
Andrew helped keep Nana warm by sitting in her lap while eating snacks.
Adeline got her foot on the ball a couple of times, and had a very good play keeping the ball from going out of bounds. But she still seems more interested in those watching her.
She always has a smile on her face.
And a thumbs up whenever there has been a good play.
Thank you Nana and Papa for driving all the way up for this very appreciative little girl.
*****Video will come of the next games....

I enjoy watching Andrew play using his imagination
I do enjoy playing with my kids...but I also enjoy watching them play together or on their own. Especially when they are in their own little world and don't even know I'm watching.

Awana Awards 2012
For the past two years when we came to the Awana Awards night we would stay for Addy to get her certificate and then head out. This year with both James and I volunteering and Adeline being in Sparkies (which is later in the ceremony), we stayed for the whole thing. It wasn't long and was really fun to watch the kids.
We all had to sit in our sections. So Daddy was with Addy and the Sparks, and I was with Andrew and the Puggles.
A very proud Andrew above and the video below is Andrew getting his award.
Adeline and Maya cleaned up receiving every award possible. Completing the book, reviewing all verses, completing the extra credit book, a merit award, and a trophy for perfect attendance.
Addy and Andrew....with Ryan being silly behind them.
Next year Andrew will join Sophie in Cubbies!
The Corbin's and the Bean's.
Andrew is showing off his muscles per Ryan's request :)

Edward Tulane is here to stay...
Adeline's name was drawn to keep Edward FOREVER! She was so excited when I picked her up from school. Edward got a nice bath (in the washing machine) as soon as we got home and here he is all clean and germ free. Welcome to the Bean house Sir Edward....

Our last Puggles
Tonight was our last Puggles night. We played, went to the gym, had snacks, and watched a movie. I grew pretty attached to these little ones. I am already looking forward to when I can be with them again next year as Cubbies!

We had the Clausens over for dinner
We had our friends the Clausen's over for dinner. It was such a great time. Adeline and Logan played so well together and it was great because Andrew and Lincoln played well too. Normally Andrew plays with Adeline's friends so it was nice to see Andrew with his own friend. We ate dinner, played outside and then the kids played upstairs while us adults talked until ten at night. That is really late when your kids normally go to bed at eight, but they were playing so well and we were having great conversation.
The kids loved playing in the backyard. Adeline and Logan did take turns driving the truck although I only have pictures of Addy driving.
Andrew with Lincoln. I love both of these pictures.
The trampoline was a magnet for the kids. Amorette sure did enjoy herself on it too. It's a pretty good workout. James was on there at first and then Amorette and I got on with the kids and played crack the egg and pop the popcorn.
Addy and Logan now...

Adeline's First Soccer Game 2012
This was a big day! We were so excited for Adeline and her first soccer game. There are 13 teams, and we play about half of them during the season. Adeline is really enjoying playing, but even more than playing she enjoys others coming to watch and cheer her on. I always get a thumbs up or a kiss blown to me MANY timers during the game. I love it! She is so sweet but sometimes you will find/hear me shouting "keep you eye on the ball", among many other things :).
There are nine players on the team and four out on the field at a time. Adeline gets the starting kick.
Grandpa Bean and Grandpa Forte came up to cheer Adeline on. Andrew loved sitting next to his Grandpa's, eating pretzels.
Adeline number 10, in action. She isn't quite aggressive enough to get in there and kick the ball (unless it comes to her). But she is the first to get to the net if the other team is about to score a goal.

This was great. While the other kids were out on the field playing, you found all three girls huddled together looking at something and not even paying attention.

Two kids with too much sugar
On the ride home the kids were just going crazy.
Thankfully they were just having fun together and not fighting.
We stopped at Grandma and Grandpa Forte's
We had planned to stop at Grandma and Grandpa Forte's house on our way back home. To our surprise John and Candy, Aleisha and the kids, and my Dad were all already there. Aleisha decided to stay the night at John's so that she didn't have to rush off and that allowed more time for us to have together. We ended up spending about two hours there enjoying each others company.
Adeline snuggles in with Uncle John who was playing with her hair.
Aunt Candy was right behind them playing with Johns hair.
Andrew was playing games on Daddy's phone
I caught Michael in the corner.
And Aliyah was licking (yes licking) Aleisha's phone.
Andrew and Aliyah were playing with Ralph's (the cat) toys
James must have had the hot spot because the kids kept playing games on his phone.
