Since I'm blogging...

Beauty and the Beast is on right now and Belle and the Beast/Prince just kissed. Adeline came up to me and put her mouth to mine. Not to kiss but I think to "make-out" with me. Her mouth was wide open and her eyes were closed.

Andrew rolling over

At just about two months old Andrew has started to roll over. Yesterday was his first time but I was unable to catch it on video. Now today it is all he wants to do. Adeline also rolls over next to him. It is funny when I show Andrew concentrated attention how Adeline starts to mimic whatever it is Andrew is doing.

In the background you will be hearing E.T. which is Adeline's new favorite. I am not happy with the amount of movies she watches but sometimes it is what I need to get through the day.

Andrew has very strong legs and likes to push himself forward. Not to sound too much like one of those crazy mom's but....the way he moves his legs is like he is trying to move forward. They are not just going crazy kicking everywhere but they seem very intent on pushing himself up. Maybe once his arms catch up some crawling might happen. It will take some time but I am impressed.

Aunt Erin spent the weekend with us

Aunt Erin came and spent Friday through Monday with us. It worked out great because Daddy had to work all weekend. We played, went to visit Daddy, went to two birthday parties and had a lot of fun together.

Grandpa Bean took Daddy to a Pistons game....

...and got me this cool jersey. Actually it is for me and Andrew but he needs to get bigger first.

So not to sound too crazy. For the last couple of weeks Andrew has had three white spots on his upper gum line. I have felt them and they are hard. I didn't want to sound crazy or schedule and appointment just for this so when my father in law was up I asked him to check and sure enough Andrew is already getting teeth. Lucky me. I hope it takes a long time for them to fully come in.

A nice weekend

Early Friday we were greeted by three special visitors. Grandpa and Grandma Bean and Aunt Betsey all came to stay over through Saturday. Adeline was very excited (so was Andrew). We had a wonderful time I even got some extra sleep and was able to take a shower by myself.

Saturday night we went and met Aunt Bobbie and Aunt Erin to celebrate some birthdays. It was a very nice weekend.

Six Week Photo Shoot....

Hard to believe it has already been six weeks. I do promise that soon a lengthy post sharing what life has been like for us is coming.

Miss Adeline

So after reading Daniel's post on Maya and her interpretation of time outs I was reminded to write a post on Adeline. Here are a few recent statements from Miss Adeline at different times....

Mommy: "Adeline I need you to come here right now...1,2,3"

Adeline: "Mommy...I'm going to count to three...1,2,3,4,9,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15....come on"

Mommy: "What did Mommy say?"

Adeline:"What did Adeline say?...I said yes"

Mommy: "Adeline Mommy says no..N.O."...

Adeline: "Mommy Adeline says Yes...Yuh." (doesn't know how to spell yes yet just sounded it out)

My Buddy..

This little guy is so sweet. I wasn't sure how I would be with a boy, but.....I am in love. He is already getting so big. At his one month appointment he was already 10lbs. 10oz. and 22 inches long. He is going to be a BIG boy. I have a lot to say about him but not a lot of time to sit and type. Hopefully soon...maybe tonight....I will take the time to share with you how amazing this journey has been.

Adeline has become quite the little helper around the house. She is always there when Andrew needs to be burped or needs his pacifier. Today as I was feeding Andrew she was reading her babies stories, saying a prayer, and then laid them down in the activity gym to sleep. Then later on she said that she needed to feed her baby and pulled up her shirt. James also had to feed his baby Sasha. She is such a good little Mommy.
